Observations and Concerns Shared with the Program Coach on 19/08/24

1. Disorganized and Misleading Course Content:

The course materials, particularly the video modules, lack a coherent structure. Despite being labeled as 'fundamentals,' many of the videos do not cover the essential basics needed to start an agency from the ground up. Instead, they focus on scaling existing agencies, which does not align with the expectations set during my initial consultation. This misalignment creates confusion and undermines the learning process, as the content does not cater to those who, like myself, are beginning their journey in this field. Moreover, the sequence of the videos is erratic, jumping between different business phases, making it nearly impossible to follow a logical progression.

I had explicitly communicated my need for foundational guidance during my initial discussions, yet the course content provided is irrelevant to those requirements. The discrepancy between what was promised and what was delivered is concerning and has significantly hindered my progress.

2. Substandard Quality of the Service Delivery Module:

The quality of instruction in the Service Delivery module is severely lacking. The videos suffer from poor audio quality, disorganized presentations, and an overall ineffective teaching approach. There is no clear introduction or step-by-step guidance, which is vital for someone starting from scratch. Consequently, I have had to seek out external resources to fill in the gaps, which is unacceptable considering the investment made in this course.

Furthermore, the instructor's qualifications are not verifiable, raising concerns about the credibility of the content. As a participant in this course, I have the right to know the professional background of those from whom I am learning. The lack of transparency and the absence of verifiable credentials cast doubt on the legitimacy of the program and diminish its value.

3. Overall Low Quality and Outdated Content:

Many of the videos in the course are outdated, with some materials dating back to 2022. The quality of these videos is subpar, further detracting from the overall learning experience. Additionally, there is a significant portion of content that appears to be directly sourced from the internet, with no original contributions or modifications. This not only reflects poorly on the quality of the course but also raises ethical concerns about the authenticity and value of the material provided.

The disorganization within the course is evident in the random sequencing of classes and modules, which seem to have been compiled without any clear pedagogical strategy. This disjointed approach makes it difficult to build a solid foundation of knowledge.

Moreover, the inclusion of referrals to paid Udemy courses for Facebook ads and other topics is misleading. It suggests a bait-and-switch tactic that undermines trust and further calls into question the course's integrity.

4. Misalignment Between Coaching Calls and Course Content:

While the one coaching call I attended was professional and provided valuable advice, there is a stark contrast between the guidance received and the content of the course itself. The coaching emphasized a step-by-step approach starting from the basics, which aligns with my needs. However, the course materials fail to support this approach, creating a significant disconnect. The tasks recommended during the coaching session were unachievable with the resources provided by the course, necessitating the use of external materials only.

This misalignment highlights a broader issue with the program: it does not deliver on its promises. Given the considerable investment involved, it is disappointing to find that the course falls short of even basic educational standards.
